Almost a year later I am back in Hermanus.

Certain things have changed, Like Mugg & Bean is no longer Mugg & Bean, but some other coffee place (Frankly I can't be bothered to know it) and my Favourite antique shop, Romantiques has moved. (First I though it had closed down, but thankfully they're even more Awesome now)

It feels sort of weird being here, so many memories live in this place, especially those of love..
It is still as cool as ever though, and it's super cool being able to walk down at 8:30 PM and grab some Steers :P (On a related note, HOW MUCH MUSTARD IS ON A KING STEER BURGER? I nearly drowned.)

Some Random Snaps, with more to follow. Perhaps:

Tattoo or not too

So I have been toying for an idea of a tattoo for awhile now.
It has to be something that is relevant to me, (which is basically, Photography, coffee, some cars, Top Gear, Pretty Photos, and did I mention Photography?) :P
I was online the other night and decided to browse around.
I'm thinking something along the lines of this  :

I quite like where it is, and the subject is cool too of course. Perhaps the lens just not so extended.
And also slightly more detailed:
I mean, who wants a Point & Shoot after all :P

Polaroids

These are a few Polaroids I've taken in the past, all shot on expired film as one can notice.
The old owner at a nearby Spar shop told me that they used polaroids to photograph the local natives when they applied for accounts in the 90s. I wonder if people knew back then just how rare and pricey the film would become.

Take a look at The Impossible Project if you havent heard of them already.

SEA

I went down to the ocean at twilight yesterday to do some location scouting for when my models actually arrive.
There is something so cool about how the ocean stretches out as far as you can see toward the horizon, and you know that even if it doesn't look like it, there is another continent, country further on.

There was this family flying a kite. I think I should get one again. :)

MMXII

This is my first blog Post of 2012 as well as.. Ever.
Unless you subscribe to the belief that the world will end this year in the same was as the boring, failed 2012 movie, this should be the first of many years of blogging. Good luck and hope this year is Awesome as mine will be!

Here are a few snaps of where I am for the next week, alone other than, a cat (named Cat), two great Danes that would put ponies to shame, and the resident Ghost.
